On 11/04/2024 at about 4:30am, TVFD was alerted to assist station 48 (Glenn Moore FC) for Engine 69-5, 2 brush trucks and the ATV on a woods fire. Brush 69-1 made the response immediately after dispatch as TVFD was already out on a smoke investigation call as a result of this woods fire. Crews arrived and immediately began containment efforts. Crews worked tirelessly with numerous other fire companies cutting fire line and extinguishing the fire that approximately burned 5 acres. The fire was placed under control around 8:30am.
