This year’s Annual Golf Outing was held at the French Creek Golf Club. Registration and breakfast started at 7:30 am. Weather was cloudy but dry with temps in the high 70’s. The scramble format started at 9:00 AM. We had the usual challenge events, but also 2 unique challenges closest to hole for $1 million dollars and longest drive in fire gear that everybody looks forward to. This year there was also a new speed challenge brought to us by Xfinity/Comcast.

Hole #9 was a Speed Challenge. Your Golf Ball Drive Speed was measured - Xfinity presented winner with an Apple Watch.

Hole #10 was a Closest-to-the-Pin Challenge, the winner got to shoot for a Hole-in-One and could win $1 Million Dollars, which was shot after lunch.

Hole #18 was a Longest Drive Challenge but Wearing Firefighters Gear (Bunker Coat, Gloves & Helmet).

We finished off the event with a catered luncheon and awards. Everyone had a great time.
