Last night we had a very special guest stop in here at the firehouse. Actor James McCaffrey(Jimmy Keefe) from the TV hit series RESCUE ME stopped in. He was shooting a movie near by and wanted to check out our firehouse. It was quite an honor! When he left he told us "stay safe 69 truck!" Jimmys role in the TV show rescue me; Jimmy Keefe is Tommy's cousin and best friend who died at Ground Zero o...n 9/11. Husband of Sheila and father of Damien. His "ghost" often haunts Tommy, particularly when Tommy has been drinking. In the first season, Tommy and Jimmy postmortem were still old pals, but after Jimmy caught Tommy sleeping with Sheila, Their relationship was filled with more hatred. Jimmy Keefe was considered an honorable hero to a lot of Fire houses in New York.
