At 3:44 PM the Twin Valley Fire Department was alerted for Ladder 69 to assist Station 3-4(Churchtown) for a reported garage on fire. The fire was reported to be in the area of Narvon Road and Division Highway(Route 322) in Caernarvon Township Lancaster County.
Deputy 3-4(L. Martin) was first to arrive and found a garage fully involved and established command. Command then issued a defensive attack due to heavy fire throughout and conditions of the building deteriorating from fire.
Ladder 69 arrived with 5 volunteers and assisted Churchtown, Goodville and Honey Brook crews with fire suppression and extensive overhaul operations.

A fire consumed an outbuilding in Caernarvon Township on Tuesday afternoon.
The fire, at 1114 Narvon Road, broke out around 3:30 p.m., destroying the wooden 20-by-40-foot two-car garage.
Firefighters from Caernarvon, Goodville and Blue Ball, as well as Honey Brook and Twin Valley fire companies from Chester County, battled the stubborn blaze.
The fire started accidentally while the owner was working on a motorcycle engine, according to Caernarvon deputy fire chief Floyd Martin.
